The LRC is participating in a program to help furnish apartments for homeless vets.  This program is a joint venture between the Will County VAC and the Lockport VFW.  This week we helped furnish another apartment with furniture we had “stashed” away from our previous donation drive.  This vet also shopped with us and is set up in LRC style!  We are really proud to be able to help!

We are truly  blessed by the out pouring of support from the community!

Due to the  health code, the LRC cannot take donations of swimsuits and undergarments as they cannot be resold.  If you are considering donations of large furniture, please call the center and leave a message with what the item is and what its dimensions are, as we have limited space in the shop.
